I’m Sophie, the founder of Henry’s Haven Doggy Daycare & Home Boarding, based right here in Finchfield, Wolverhampton. Together with Henry, our mischievous and lovable Mini Dachshund (and proud Chief Entertainment Officer!), we offer a true home from home dog care experience.
Henry’s Haven was born out of a deep love for animals and a desire to create a safe, trusted space for dogs. Having experienced firsthand how important it is to find caring doggy daycare and home boarding for Henry, we wanted to offer the same peace of mind to other local dog owners.
Based within our family home, we provide a relaxed, loving, and safe environment where your dog can enjoy all the comforts, cuddles, and care they deserve. Whether you need daycare, overnight boarding, or just a little extra attention for your dog, Henry’s Haven is here to help.
We proudly offer our services to dog owners in areas including Tettenhall, Compton, Wightwick, Penn, and Merry Hill. However, we also warmly welcome dogs from across Wolverhampton and the West Midlands — because when you find the right care for your beloved pet, it’s always worth the journey. recognising signs of illness, or providing life-saving assistance before veterinary help is available. Our first aid knowledge gives you added peace of mind that your dog’s health and wellbeing are always our top priority while they are in our care.

As Waffle would say 10 paws / 10 paws! Made to feel thoroughly welcome as soon as he walked through the front door! Nice and calm environment for the dog and a great outdoor space for him to run off some of his energy!
Kept up-to-date with photos throughout his overnight stay and could visibly see that waffle was enjoying himself!
Sophie and Neil were absolutely amazing with him and treated him like their own! Would highly recommend them to anyone who may need dog sitting in the future!

We’re so pleased to have found Henry’s Haven. Sophie & Neil are simply the best and care so much about what they do. Coco has settled in so well and it’s so lovely to see her getting to know Henry and making lots of new friends. Lovely garden with plenty of space for zoomies! We get regular photos throughout the day and it’s clear to see she’s having the best time and in the best care. 100% recommend!
Can't recommend enough
What can I say 10/10. Sophie and Henry took such wonderful care of Luna during her recent stay. Such a lovely home environment with a great garden space, plenty of walks, cuddles and playtime. She most definitely made herself at home with you guys, even borrowing one of Henry’s fleece coats . Can’t recommend Henry’s Haven enough. Loved all the daily videos and photos … thanks again for taking such loving care of our little diva Luna bear. She can’t wait for her next visit!
